Features
Spykee on your iPhone
The most important feature of iSpykee is that it shows you on your iPhone or iPod Touch what the Spykee is seeing no matter where you are. It does not stream video. It updates the "viewport" image periodically (or on demand with the "Update" button). This keeps bandwidth usage down and still gives you a view of what the robot is seeing - and it even works on slow Edge connections.
Open-source
iSpykee includes source code to the "iSpykee controller" that communicates with the Spykee robot over the LAN. This freely available source code is written in "C" and is meant to be relatively easy to use in other applications. It can detect your Spykee robot on your LAN and communciate with it to control the motors, capture web-cam images (video), control the LED etc. There is also skeleton code for capturing audio, but this is not used in the iSpykee application.
